EnviroBarns recognises and acknowledges that social and environmental responsibilities are important to business productivity and profitability, and this sentiment is central to our business strategy. We care deeply about the environment and its fragility. When we converted the former barns and outbuildings, our vision was to offer exceptional self-catering accommodation within the beautiful Fenlands of Lincolnshire, whilst protecting the environment and local wildlife.
Our environmental commitment was originally to ensure that we:
• Minimise our C02 contribution with the use of renewable technologies
• Reduce operating costs with integrated sustainable design principles
• Provide high quality holiday accommodation with a unique selling point of respect to the environment
• Interact with local businesses, schools and local groups to promote a greener philosophy
• Protect and preserve the area we live in for the benefit of future generations
As a small business we are aware that our activities can cause harm to the environment and we take steps to minimize this effect. We encourage our guests to be green during their stay and ensure that information and facilities are on hand to endorse our green philosophy.
